This government-sponsored art venue houses rotating art exhibitions, music concerts, and traditional performances.
Art for Children programs are held every Sunday 10.00 am – 12.00 noon. Kids are encouraged to develop their talents in dance, painting, theater, music and singing. Children and parents can also hold discussions with Jogja senior artists. Advanced programs in singing and theater for teenagers are held on Fridays 16.00 – 18.00 pm. Taman Budaya also holds classical dance and rehearsals for children and teenagers on Saturday 16.00 – 18.00 pm.
