Yogyakarta is renowned as Indonesian student city, in this city lies two largest universities in Indonesia, the one is Indonesia’s oldest and largest university, Universitas Gadjah Mada enrollment consists of more than 35,000 students from throughout the archipelago. The other one is the largest art institute in Indonesia, ISI Yogyakarta is home to the Yogyakarta Symphony Orchestra and many master artists who are former ISI students.
